Balcony Garden

one  two  three  four  five  six

Our balcony is currently empty with the exception of a barbeque, which isn't the most aesthetically pleasing piece. Although the balcony is only 5x5 in size, I'm doing my best to try and liven it up, literally! Adding some plants and herbs in a variety of sized pots will hopefully do the trick. One day I hope to have a larger balcony that we could actually sit or even eat on, but for now I will do what I can with what we have!

I'm loving the look of the grey pots with the white stripe in the third photo, but since we don't have a West Elm in Vancouver (sigh) I may try and DIY my own! I'll share some before and after photos soon!

  3. Loving your blog girl! Can't wait to see what you plan to do with your balcony - I just redecorated my room last week after moving back from university.

  4. Small gardens are totally possible! I wonder if you might be able to make use of something like these, pretty ideal for small, urban gardening situations: http://www.woollypocket.com/

I'm going to be using a community garden plot this summer, but if I was still in an apartment in Ottawa I'd probably be using those!
