Photos taken in Pisac and Aguas Calientes
After spending a few days in Cusco, we headed to Urubamba, a town in the Sacred Valley. This was possibly my favourite town in Peru, mainly because it's where we had two of the best meals of our trip (clearly I base everything around food). While in the Sacred Valley we also spent a day in Pisac at the market, which was filled with colourful textiles, jewelry and much more.
Beautiful pics! I want that rug or blanket thing...and that hot dog thing the little one is eating. Is it wheat free? LOL ;)
ReplyDeleteYour photos are UNBELIEVABLE
ReplyDeleteThanks J! Wait until you see the Machu Picchu photos :)
DeleteBeautiful. Looks like a stunning place to visit.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, you went to Urubamba! I volunteered there for 4 weeks last summer. Hands down my favourite little town in all of the Sacred Valley! Speaking of food, did you visit Kai, the local restaurant/art house? It serves probably the best food I've ever eaten. Ever. :)
ReplyDeleteNo we didn't try it but now I'm wishing we had heard of it! Urubamba was amazing, I would have loved to spend four weeks there!
DeleteI love these glimpses into what must have been an amazing trip! Your photos are beautiful. Especially that shot of the lady and child, so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rebecca! Yes the trip was absolutely amazing! The photos of the women are my favourite as well :)
