Pisac Market

Photos taken in Pisac and Aguas Calientes

After spending a few days in Cusco, we headed to Urubamba, a town in the Sacred Valley. This was possibly my favourite town in Peru, mainly because it's where we had two of the best meals of our trip (clearly I base everything around food). While in the Sacred Valley we also spent a day in Pisac at the market, which was filled with colourful textiles, jewelry and much more.

  1. Beautiful pics! I want that rug or blanket thing...and that hot dog thing the little one is eating. Is it wheat free? LOL ;)

  4. Ahhhh, you went to Urubamba! I volunteered there for 4 weeks last summer. Hands down my favourite little town in all of the Sacred Valley! Speaking of food, did you visit Kai, the local restaurant/art house? It serves probably the best food I've ever eaten. Ever. :)
